Privacy Policy

Your education plans are personal. Here is how we handle the information you choose to share with our team.

Last updated Vidhyarthi Mithram

Vidhyarthi Mithram Educational Consultants Private Limited uses information to respond to enquiries and provide the services you request. Share only what is needed; contact info@vidhyarthimithram.com for privacy questions, corrections or deletion requests.

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to the website and education-consultancy enquiries handled by Vidhyarthi Mithram Educational Consultants Private Limited, trading as Vidhyarthi Mithram. It covers students, parents or guardians, prospective partners, job applicants and other people contacting us.

You can read the public website without creating a student account. An access-controlled preview may require the hosting provider’s sign-in process, which is separate from a consultancy account with us.

Information you provide

When you enquire, we may receive your name, contact details, preferred destination, study level, subject interests, academic background and the message you choose to provide. Partner enquiries can include business and professional details; careers enquiries can include qualifications, work experience and application information.

If you engage us for application support, we may need further academic, identity, financial or other documents relevant to your chosen service. We will explain what is required for that stage. Do not send passwords, full payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive documents in an initial enquiry.

  • Provide accurate contact details so our team can respond.
  • Share another person’s information only with their permission or appropriate authority.
  • Ask which secure delivery method to use before sending identity or financial documents.

Technical information and website features

When the website is accessed, hosting and security providers can process technical request data such as an IP address, browser information, requested page and time of access. A submitted enquiry may also include its source page, referrer and campaign information to help our team understand the request.

Fonts are hosted locally. The Google Map connects to Google only after you choose to load it. Optional analytics requires an explicit opt-in and a configured production integration; you can reject or withdraw it using Cookie settings in the footer. Social, WhatsApp and university links lead to external services. The Cookie Policy explains these technologies and your controls.

Why we use your information

We use relevant information to answer questions, arrange counselling, assess the options you ask us to consider, prepare a shortlist and provide agreed application or related support. We also use it to manage partner or careers enquiries, payments and service records, resolve complaints and protect the website from misuse.

We may contact you about your enquiry and the steps you request. An enquiry is not permission for unrelated third parties to market to you. If you do not want optional updates from us, tell us using the contact below; essential communications about an active service may still be necessary.

Forms, email drafts and delivery

Student enquiry forms submit to our StudyOS lead service. Careers and partner forms email the details you submit to info@vidhyarthimithram.com through our approved business-email relay. These two forms do not create student leads. Your email address is used as Reply-To so our team can respond to your application or enquiry.

A careers or partner confirmation appears after the mail service accepts the email. That is not a guarantee about subsequent mailbox processing, a job offer or a partner appointment. If online sending is unavailable, an email draft or downloaded copy is a fallback: creating it alone does not deliver it, and you must send it from your own email app.

Our public form components do not deliberately retain your typed details in browser localStorage or sessionStorage. The mail receiver keeps limited opaque submission identifiers, content fingerprints and delivery receipt metadata to prevent accidental duplicate emails; the submitted application text is not stored in that receipt database. Routine submission processing removes receipt metadata older than 30 days. Email records are retained under the retention practices described below. Browser autofill, downloaded files and messages in your own email account are controlled separately.

When information is shared

For services you request, relevant information may be shared with the chosen university, admissions body, test provider, authorised service partner or other recipient needed for that step. We do not need to send your entire file to every institution simply because you ask for a shortlist.

Website hosting, communications and approved service-management providers may process information for their supporting functions. We may also disclose information where required by applicable law or necessary to address fraud, security incidents or a legal claim. Ask us to clarify a proposed recipient before an application is sent.

Overseas institutions and providers

Applying abroad can require information to be sent to the destination country or processed by an international service provider. The recipient’s location, requirements and privacy practices may differ from those in India. Review the relevant institution’s notice before authorising an application.

An external website or provider applies its own privacy policy. Our links do not give us control over its data handling, retention or security practices.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, an active service, required records or the resolution of a dispute. Different enquiry, application and financial records can require different retention periods; this notice does not promise that every record is deleted on a single fixed date.

We aim to restrict information to people and providers who need it for the relevant task. No website, email or storage system can be promised completely secure. Tell us promptly if you believe information you shared has been misdirected or exposed, without forwarding further sensitive material unnecessarily.

Access, correction, deletion and concerns

Email info@vidhyarthimithram.com to ask about information you have shared, request a correction or deletion, withdraw an optional communication preference, or raise a privacy concern. Describe your request and the contact details used for the enquiry; do not attach identity documents unless we request a suitable verification step.

We may need to confirm identity and understand the request before acting. Some records may need to be retained for an ongoing service, a legal obligation or a legitimate dispute; we will explain relevant limitations. Withdrawing information needed for an application may prevent us from completing that step.

Students under eighteen

Students under eighteen should involve a parent or legal guardian before submitting personal information or arranging a paid service. Parents or guardians contacting us should identify their relationship and provide only information relevant to the requested guidance.

Contact us if you believe a child has supplied information without appropriate involvement so we can review the situation and the appropriate next steps.

Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy when our services, website features or information-handling arrangements change. The updated date identifies this version. This policy should be read alongside the service terms and the relevant provider notices, rather than as a guarantee about all third-party systems.
