Admission planning

A little clarity.
A better next step.

Admission planning

Academic eligibility

  • A bachelor's equivalent to the Chinese degree standard, academic transcripts, personal statement and two qualified academic/professional recommendations are required.
  • Overseas degrees need the specified CSCSE authentication by registration.
  • Applicants must satisfy international-nationality documentation rules; admission includes a comprehensive assessment.

Admission planning

Language requirements

  • Non-native English applicants need IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 85 for tests before 21 January 2026 / 4.5 for tests from that date.
  • The programme is taught in English, with separate Chinese-language and culture curriculum requirements.

Admission planning

Study intakes

  • The current application cycle is for 2027 enrolment.
  • General graduate registration normally falls in late August or early September; the admission package supplies the exact reporting dates.
  • Do not treat application rounds as separate course starts.

Admission planning

Application deadlines

  • First round closes before 15 December 2026 at 17:00 Beijing time.
  • Second round runs 1 January 2027 at 08:00 to 27 February at 17:00.

  • Winter-break verification may be slower.

Admission planning

International tuition

  • Application costs CNY 800 and insurance CNY 800 per year.
  • Housing and living expenses are additional; this is not a complete-degree budget.

Admission planning

Scholarships & funding

  • University tuition awards can cover full or partial fees for one academic year and are competitive annually.
  • Scholarship consideration follows pre-admission; an application or admission offer does not itself guarantee funding.
