Helpful answers
Practical answers to help you plan your course, destination and next intake.
Ask a counsellorSelected programme options include Master of Science in Data Science (DSC), Master in Artificial Intelligence (MAI), Master in Cognitive Systems. These are selected examples, not the full catalogue. Availability, campus, mode of study and teaching language must be checked for your intake.
Relevant recognised bachelor's qualification and departmental selection apply. MAI specifically lists science/applied sciences, engineering or cognitive-science backgrounds, programming knowledge, English and relevant AI work/report experience. Other courses set their own criteria. The computing department identifies the three listed programmes as English-taught. Cognitive Systems is an interuniversity distance-learning programme, not a campus-study substitute for residence purposes.
The university's current general fee page quotes €5,125 total tuition for conventional master's programmes, but self-funded programmes have separate prices. Confirm the category and complete total of DSC, MAI or Cognitive Systems before applying this general figure to any of them. Fees are not a university-wide average. Confirm the exact course, fee year, currency, deposit, extra charges and refund conditions before paying.
Consult the current Graduate School and programme announcement at the linked official resource . No unverified upcoming date is supplied; some departmental scholarship dates shown for 2026 have passed. Programme and graduate-school calls determine intake availability. A September 2026 MAI announcement is historical by this research date; confirm the next call rather than call it open. A semester start date is not an application closing date. Check scholarship and visa timelines separately.
