Admission planning

A little clarity.
A better next step.

Admission planning

Academic eligibility

  • A recognised Level 8-equivalent honours degree at 2.2 or better with quantitative content is the normal requirement.
  • The school also considers some 2.2 graduates with at least three years of quantitative professional experience individually.
  • Non-standard experience-based entry is discretionary, not an entitlement.

Admission planning

Language requirements

  • The published 2027/28 policy requires IELTS Academic 6.5 overall and at least 6.0 in each band, or an approved alternative.
  • Certificates must be within two years of the start date; the policy does not accept IELTS Single Retake Module results.
  • Recheck the applicable policy for January 2027.

Admission planning

Study intakes

  • Maynooth's international application calendar lists a late-January 2027 Business Analytics start and September 2027 entry.
  • The January route is the only January-start programme named in that calendar; do not infer January availability for other degrees.

Admission planning

Application deadlines

  • The international calendar gives 5 December 2026 for January 2027 Business Analytics and 30 June 2027 for September 2027 applications.
  • Both opened on 14 October 2026.
  • Confirm the exact route and remaining places before applying; the redesigned course finder currently exposes limited details.

Admission planning

International tuition

  • The official 2026/27 schedule lists EUR 18,000 non-EU fees per annum for full-time MH48D and January-start MH58D.
  • It is a 2026/27 quotation, not a confirmed September 2027 price.
  • The table separately displays a student levy; confirm its treatment and the full invoice with the Fees Office.

Admission planning

Scholarships & funding

  • The International Office's September 2027 award terms cover campus-based full-time taught postgraduate programmes for qualifying new, self-funded non-EU students with an accepted firm offer and deposit paid.
  • Awards reduce first-year tuition and cannot be combined with another Maynooth tuition scholarship.
  • These September-only terms do not establish a January 2027 award.
