At least a three-year bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering or a related field such as mathematics or statistics, with demonstrated computing preparation. Country-specific qualification and GPA requirements also apply. English B2 or an accepted equivalent certificate; exemptions and minimum test scores must follow the university's current language rules.

For 2026/27, the standard non-EU, household-abroad scientific-programme contribution is EUR 2,990 per academic year, plus up to EUR 208 in regional tax and stamp duty: up to EUR 3,198 annually before applicable exemptions. It is not the entire two-year cost; 2027/28 fees require confirmation. Fees are not a university-wide average. The 2026/27 overseas non-EU calls closed on 2 February and 2 May 2026. The general 2027/28 first call runs 15 September-15 November 2026 for participating programmes; confirm that Computer Science is available in that call before applying. The later 2026 summer call was restricted to EU applicants and eligible residents in Italy. Two years, 120 ECTS, taught in English in Padua. The reviewed 2026/27 course listing gives a 1 October 2026 start; this is not a confirmed 2027 start date. A semester start date is not an application closing date.
