Normally a 2:2 honours degree or equivalent in a technical or scientific subject. Sport science, biomedical subjects, economics and information systems are examples; other subjects and relevant experience can receive individual assessment. For the one-year School of Science and Technology master's route, IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with at least 5.5 in each component. Longer routes can have higher speaking/listening requirements.

The September 2027 programme page quotes international tuition of GBP 20,400 for the first academic year. A placement year attracts a separate charge at the rate applicable when it occurs. NTU's international guidance does not set a general postgraduate application cutoff. Courses can close without notice when full.
