Data Science and Analytics requires a UK 2:1 honours equivalent with substantial mathematics, statistics or computing, plus a list of studied modules. Leeds says accounting/finance degrees are not normally suitable. The separate conversion Data Science MSc accepts a 2:1 equivalent in any subject; these entry conditions must not be conflated. Both cited course pages specify IELTS 6.5 overall with at least 6.0 in every component, or an accepted alternative. Pre-sessional routes have separate admission conditions.
For 2027 entry, each cited on-campus data-science MSc quotes GBP 34,600 total international tuition for the 12-month course. This is not an annual fee for an unspecified multi-year degree, and does not include living expenses. Fees are not a university-wide average. Confirm the exact course, fee year, currency, deposit, extra charges and refund conditions before paying.
The Data Science and Analytics course lists 30 July 2027 for international applicants and 10 September 2027 for UK applicants. Apply earlier for scholarship consideration; the scholarship closing date is not the final course deadline. The cited on-campus MSc routes start in September 2027 and last 12 months full-time. Do not confuse them with Leeds' separate online Data Science (Statistics) programme. A semester start date is not an application closing date. Check scholarship and visa timelines separately.
