Admission planning
Academic eligibility
- The CS programme expects a bachelor's degree, relevant mathematics beyond precalculus, laboratory science and computing preparation, including structured programming, discrete mathematics, data structures and architecture.
- Its published GPA guidance refers to 3.0 in the last 60 undergraduate credits.
- Computer Engineering prefers related engineering/computing degrees and may require deficiency coursework.
- Master's applications include transcripts, a résumé, two recommendations and an applicant-written statement.
- GW explicitly requires applicants to complete and submit their own application; an agency must not write the statement or submit it as the applicant.
