Selected programme options include Computer Science BS — on campus, 120 credits, Computer Science MS — on campus. These are selected examples, not the full catalogue. Availability, campus, mode of study and teaching language must be checked for your intake.

First-year international applicants submit the equivalent of US secondary-school graduation, normally 12–13 years of study, with academic/exam records and certified translations where needed. Graduate applicants need a completed undergraduate degree. The CS MS listing requires college transcripts, a goal statement, CV, three recommendations and GRE unless the specified US ABET-degree/GPA exemption applies. Direct undergraduate examples are IELTS 6.0, TOEFL 4, PTE 58 or DET 105. The graduate CS MS table instead gives IELTS 6.5, DET 115 or TOEFL 4.5 on the scale effective January 21, 2026 (80 earlier). Graduate tests must be within two years; confirm which exemption or alternative evidence the programme accepts.

For Fall 2026, UCCS separates tuition, general fees and programme/course fees; costs vary by college/programme, and undergraduate lower-division rates are discounted relative to upper division. Use the Bursar's 2026–27 bill estimator with nonresident status, actual credits and the exact CS degree. Add housing, insurance and other expenses to the programme's tuition and fees. Fees are not a university-wide average. Confirm the exact course, fee year, currency, deposit, extra charges and refund conditions before paying.

The current Graduate School CS MS listing gives November 1, 2026 for Spring 2027 and April 1, 2027 for Fall 2027. These are application deadlines, not the first day of classes. Confirm the international documentation timetable alongside the programme deadline; the same directory gives different dates for other degrees. The current CS MS listing admits in fall and spring and expressly excludes summer starts. Undergraduate and other graduate programmes have separate availability; do not apply this MS calendar universally. A semester start date is not an application closing date. Check scholarship and visa timelines separately.
