International first-year applicants need a secondary qualification permitting university entry at home, mathematics/science preparation and GPA 2.5. The Psychology page permits direct admission to the undergraduate major; transfer and specialist concentration rules differ. General undergraduate direct-entry options include IELTS 5.5 with no band below 5.0, Duolingo 105 or PTE 51. This Psychology example does not use the higher TOEFL threshold for Engineering and Computer Science.

For new fall 2026/spring 2027 Dayton entrants, non-Ohio undergraduate tuition is US$11,431 per semester at 11–18 credits, plus US$232.50 required fees. Programme/course charges, insurance and living costs are extra. The nonresident tuition portion is not covered by the four-year in-state price guarantee. Fees are not a university-wide average. For students applying from outside the US, preferred dates are June 30 for fall, November 30 for spring and March 31 for summer.
